Sab-a is primarily a cooking banana, though it can also be eaten raw. We sell per Sipi or per piece when you want to use the Sab-a for example for Pochero.
Sab-a banana is a banana cultivar originating from the Philippines. The fruits become ready for harvesting 150 to 180 days after flowering, longer than other banana varieties. Each plant has a potential yield of 26 to 38 kg per bunch. Typically, a bunch has 16 hands, with each hand having 12 to 20 fingers. The Banana tree is actually considered a herb because it does not have a woody stem.
