Langka or Jack Fruit is rich in vitamin C and one of the few fruits that's high in B vitamins. It also contains Vitamin A, folate, niacin, riboflavin, potassium, and magnesium. For storing your ripe langka, put it in a ziplock bag and keep it in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. If you want to store it longer, first freeze the parts on a baking tray for 1 to 2 hours and then put the frozen parts in a ziplock bag in your freezer. This way you can keep ripe langka for up to 2 months.
Langka ripe is also perfect for your turon, Lugaw and with your mix fruits salad.
